Oh my goodness, this project was a long time coming! I bought this sweet “Polar Plunge” canvas from Eva Howard Designs last year thinking they would serve as perfect Winter 2019 projects! I was so caught up in painting orders and moving that I hadn’t quite gotten to them.

With the end of 2020 approaching, I found my WIP that I had started in the spring and decided to take the plunge to try to stitch it up by New Years. Thanks to a Bridgerton binge and some time off during the holidays, I managed to pull it off.

Many of the threads were simply pulled from my stash.

There’s one little spot where in poor lighting, I mixed up threads with a lighter color, but I’m just embracing all imperfections that exist 2020 at this point… If you squint well enough, it may even appear intentional.

Thread Recommendations:

Pepper Pot Crystal for background

Pepper Pot Cream for body

Pepper Pot Cafe Au Lait for body

The remaining threads were little details from my stash- a bit of a navy and a greige.
