Loved customizing my @lycettedesigns canvas with some color changes and adding a phrase from a future canvas of Thörn Alexander’s.

I bought this canvas last spring as I love gingham. Every time I see it, I fondly think of my grandfathers, bedding and upholstery in various family members’ homes and summers at sea in New England. I had seen the canvas on Jessica’s instagram and new that I needed to add it to my canvas stash!

This canvas is seriously perfect for beginners and the final product is functional. Once stitched, I could envision it finished as a proper sleep mask, framed above a bed or night stand or as a sweet pillow or sign. Would be an elegant touch in any bedroom, especially with a monogram.

Why the color changes? It honestly dialed down to the fact that I have realized my whole apartment is blue and white and needing to scale it back a little bit. These were some corresponding colors that I happened to have in my stash and it seemed like a fun project that lended itself to easily change the palette.

It appears that Lycette’s online shop is currently under construction, however, I’m sure she would be delighted to help you by calling the shop.
