The hand-painted canvas.

This smaller variation of the canvas was stitched on planes, trains and all throughout Manhattan with my sister. I was so excited for the idea in my head for the final product that I cruised through it as quickly as possible.

A finished stitch: This canvas was a perfect project to have with me for little moments on the go, waiting at the doctors’ office or simply watching a movie at home. 13 mesh is a really nice size for unwinding and relaxing. The first 1/4th of the canvas was stitched by my friend Cecilia back when I lived in Cambridge. I found it while repacking to move again next week! We weren’t able to bring much with us when we moved, so I was very happy to find unstitched projects in my belongings.

This photo was taken at the end of the dock of our eleven week airbnb.

This little guy is the smaller, 18 mesh variation- the perfect size for the Planet Earth Jewelry Boxes. I carry this everywhere with me when I travel and just created a second one with Desert Flower.
