All Stitched Up: Pip & Roo Needleworks Frieda Hen

I have loved this Pip & Roo Needleworks canvas since her debut and was so stoked when I stumbled upon it in a stash clean up! Having raised chickens and collected countless eggs, this canvas makes for a special motif, reminding me of home in Vermont.

I have stitched it on and off for several months. A bit of the background here, some feathers there. There is definitely a mix up of greens in the background that give it a nice, vintage look while still being fresh. Currently, it is intend to have finished as an ornament.
