The Finishing Touch: Vol. IX Blue Dream

Was the perfect project to bring and give to each of my girlfriends on our trip to Banff National Park in Alberta as well as Glacier National Park in Montana. It was such a hit last year on our trip to Arizona and Utah that I felt like it needed to be a thing. Small needlepoint projects not only act as a lovely way to unwind after an active, adventure fun day, they act as tangible reminders of all of the wonderful memories we created together in some of the country’s most beautiful landscapes. It was also fun to see how each of my friends stitched their canvases and the decisions they made in the finishing process.. Above is my friend Andrea showing off her stitching.

Pulling inspiration from the mountains for a “Asana & Stitch” Yoga & Needlepoint Lesson with Slalom in Boston last winter, I decided that this canvas needed to be shared with the masses.
