All Stitched Up: Pre-Finished Projects
Exhibit A: This is about how far I got with this project back in September of 2018
I don’t know about you, but I often find myself unable to finish stitching projects. Typically, I get really jazzed, stitch about 80-90% of the project and then set it aside in my designated french provincial basket for about a year. The projects ultimately accumulate along with my thread stash. Then, suddenly, an entire season of a much anticipated show debuts and I find myself needing to keep my hands busy and check a few projects off my list over the course of ten hours in front of the television.

Below, you will find some canvases that I have designed or were created by a fellow designer and friend. Now that I live in Canada, shipping is not as easy as it used to be, so I plan to have them finished once I return to the States. One canvas is ahead of the game and will hopefully be completed by Christmas!
I have certainly missed this year’s Christmas finishing deadline (as I normally do) and will no doubt procrastinate with a few others on deck. However, they will someday be finished in a variety of ways to make perfect gifts for loved ones or will one day fulfill my dreams of having a Christmas tree with only needlepoint ornaments- with a few gifted handmade heirlooms sprinkled about. Lastly, a couple of them will be finished as sunglass cases for my ever growing sunglasses collection.
Although they took longer than planned, It has been a true joy to stitch these and I look forward to seeing how they turn out.!

A really fun, simply festive canvas that was a quick stitch by Anne Fisher! I had seen this on The Stitch Club virtual series on instagram and wanted to part-take. A year later, I finally got it out of my stash and finished stitching it. Personalized with glittery threads, an added navy background and my initials.

Another Anne Fisher beauty. I ended up stitching this canvas with blues, periwinkles and even added my logo!
