All Stitched Up: Home Is Wherever I'm With You

This canvas has been everywhere with me and serves as such a special sentiment as Mr. Oceans and I have moved countless times in our lives. We’ve also moved quite a few times in the short five years we have been together.

With a modern twist on an old needlepoint sampler classic, I felt the “Home is where the heart is…” needed to be reimagined with the nomadic millennial in mind. This canvas was inspired by a particularly love-filled, 420-friendly dance session at an Edward Sharpe concert with a big group of friends up at Shelburne Museum in Burlington, Vermont a few summers ago.
