There She Goes: April Arrival

Hello & Happy APRIL!

SheilaSneakPeek-6939.jpg

Welcome to another weekly edition of There She Goes!

We have entered a new month 😲 How is everyone feeling about it? I looked back at where I was this week last year and it was pretty moving. I think sometimes we don’t quite notice how much has changed or how much we’ve changed, until we can take a look back at old photos, writings, or conversations.

Yesterday I was able to receive a vaccine 🎉 and it truly was a bit emotional to feel new hope, be part of history, and trust in science. There were others young and old receiving vaccines too and there was excitement and positivity in the air. It was like taking a big exhale after holding my breath for a while. I’m filled with gratitude.

At the end of this email, you will find two events coming up in April that I am hosting in collaboration with other fantastic female entrepreneurs. One is for new / aspiring female business owners. The other is for those that are interested in meaningful intention setting, creativity, and community building. Please feel free to skip over this if you are not interested.😊

Songs To Stitch To, Sing To, Get You Through The Week

I. On The Outside — Ethan Gruska

II. Nostalgia — Uwade

III. Never Be Back — Leif Vollebekk

Set Aside Some Time This Week For Some Self-Care

I. Take 30 minutes this week to daydream and imagine. Simply let ideas flow, without filtering or rationalizing. Allow yourself to be creative, envision your path, and enjoy the process.

II. If you have a nice spring day, try making some iced tea! Brew your favorite tea, let it cool, add lemon/sweetness, and sip away!

III. Take a look at this blog post if you’re having trouble adjusting to change.

Soulful Salutations

1.“Visualization is the act of willfully forming mental images. To affect material reality using visualization, form images for your subconscious mind to use as patterns to work from.” — James Gor Jr.

2. “Let go... How would your life be different if you learned to let go of things that have already let go of you? From relationships long gone, to old grudges, to regrets, to all the 'could’ve' and 'should’ve,' to the dead friendships you still hang on to... Free yourself from the burden of a past you cannot change.” — Steve Marabol

3. “I will never have
this version of me again
let me slow down
and be with her”
— Rupi Kaur
