Welcome to the first week of February! How’s everyone doing?
Around this time last year, my partner and I landed in Denver, CO! We arrived with just one carload of our things, and a very loose plan for how the year would transpire. One year later and we own a home here, have the cutest little hound rescue pup, and are still discovering all that this area has to offer… so I guess this means we’ll be here for a little while! Though 2020 was quite a doozy, I do have so much that I feel grateful for, including the ability to be mentally and physically well on a daily basis - those small things are not lost on me!
With the upcoming day of love (2/14) approaching, I am offering an opportunity to focus in on loving oneself - and you’re invited! Lupin (Netflix Series): This French series dubbed in English is EVERYTHING!!! I will read or watch anything with a good art heist and this gives me major Thomas Crown Affair vibes
Flack (Amazon Prime Series): Anna Paquin stars in a fabulous series portraying a PR fixer to celebrities. I can't quite place the vibe it gives me, but I was devastated to find that I had run out of episodes!
Ambitious Girl (Book): Written by Meena Harris, this children's book is taking off! If you're not familiar with Meena, she is Kamala Harris's inspiring niece. I just placed an order with my local independent bookshop and can't wait to get a second copy for my niece!
