Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Welcome to another edition of There She Goes — a newsletter with a soul-stitching vibe, exciting updates, and uplifting content to help you sail right on through the week.

This week I’m writing to you from New Hampshire! I returned home due to some unexpected family circumstances, and everything is A-OK now. Life often creates learning opportunities — challenges that ask us to pivot our expectations and keep on marching — and that’s what happened this past week.

Onward now, to the good stuff!

Announcing a new kit!!!

Set Aside Some Time This Week For Some Self-Care

I. My barre teacher taught me this one this week —- Inhale and say/think, “I love you” then exhale and say/think, “I forgive you.” Done 10+ times, this can be a powerful tool to move out energy that doesn’t serve you and come back into a place that feels good.

II. Next time you feel one of your typical worries coming on strong, reach for gratitude. If you can’t find gratitude, think of one simple thing you can do well, then let yourself stand in that power.

III. Take your calendar/planner and schedule in 10 - 30 minutes of “unscheduled/free time!” and let that time take shape, ideally filled with something fun.

Uplifting Things Happening Around The World

I. Former President Jimmy Carter built a solar farm that will power half his hometown. Did you know that he also installed 32 solar panels in the White House to heat water back in 1979?

II. A non-profit in Denver created trucks that will deliver hot showers and laundry facilities for free for the homeless. The organization, Bayaud Enterprises also provides work experiences, employment coaching, and other resources for the homeless population.

III. You’ll surely be uplifted by this story about an adopted toddler that is thriving, despite the multiple physical abnormalities she was born with.

Have a great week!

Be well,
Sheila
