What’s New
Our First Finished Products! Christmas Stocking Ornaments!
Brooke has created an edited collection of contemporary needlepoint stocking ornaments with her friend Kate to help create lasting memories for years, and even generations to come. This is our very first collection of finished products and we are filled with delight to share with you that women and children have been empowered at every stage of the process (learn more when you click on the specific products!). Each individual stocking supports a different charity with a percent of it’s profits. Pick your favorite design and feel good about the impact you make with your purchase! Grab your stocking now - this is a limited release!
Also… have you downloaded A Beginner Guide to Needlepointing yet? Make sure you grab yours and tell your friends, cause this guide is free!
Songs To Stitch To, Sing To, Get You Through The Week
Set Aside Some Time This Week For Some Self-Care
I. Limit your consumption of bad news. I think we can all agree — there is no shortage of news that is stress-inducing or generally makes you feel “bleh.” Limit your consumption or make sure to consume more good news!
II. Say no to things that will drain your energy & creativity. Perhaps it’s talking with a certain friend, taking on others’ problems, owning things at work that aren’t yours, drinking excessive alcohol, or binge watching TV… if you know what steals away your energy, say no!
III. Delegation baby! Are there any tasks that you can delegate to someone else? Make a list of everything you need to or would like to do, and see if a friend/coworker/partner can take a few things off your plate.
Soulful Salutations
I. “Magic is believing in yourself, if you can do that, you can make anything happen.” — Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe
II. “You are the universe, expressing itself as a human for a little while." — Eckhart Tolle
III. “Happiness Is Enjoying the Little Things in Life” — Tiny Buddha
Uplifting Things Happening Around The World
II. For the first time, solar met 100% of South Australia's demand! This was completed with a mixture of rooftop and utility-scale solar.
III. “The Dublin Boys Club” of Ireland is a safe space that encourages men to open up about their feelings.

My Octopus Teacher (movie) — A filmmaker dives into the ocean everyday for a year to develop a relationship with an octopus. Over the course of the year he learns a tremendous amount about the octopus but also himself.
The Masked Singer (show) — this playful show shares celebrities in disguise singing their hearts out without any preconceived judgement. We have such a fun time trying to guess the singers behind the mask and keep log of our guesses.
The Way I See It (movie) — Looking forward to watching this movie which comes out on Friday!
A Single Thread by Tracy Chevalier (book) - A post world war woman joins a church embroidery group to find community. It doesn’t specify needlepoint but it’s pretty evident that it is!
Have a great week!
Be well,
Sheila
