There She Goes: Celebrate Often, Stitch Often.
Hello & Happy Wednesday!
Hello friends! Today is a very special day in my world - it’s my dog’s 15th birthday! This is a very special pup indeed. I got him when I was 12, after begging my parents for a puppy basically since I started speaking. He’s been with me as I grew into my own, was a BFF of my mom, and has converted non “dog people” into lovers! His name is “Mango” and he is truly a Buddha dog. I’m celebrating him today because he’s the best and also because it’s important to celebrate all the things right now 💃🏼🐕
Speaking of celebration - Monday marked Victoria Day! This is a day that honors Queen Victoria, who ruled Great Britain and Ireland for most of the 19th century. Curious to learn more? Check out these fun facts.
This newsletter will share updates and uplifting things - so take a deep breath, and enjoy ☀️.

In light of making improvements in the way we serve you, we have also added a new team member, who will assist with kit making! Welcome to Amanda!
Wool & Willow is finishing up their truck show with KCN Designers. You can still shop Thorn Alexander canvases at 20% off! Check it out here.
Thank you all so much for your patience and support during this time! Of course, E-Books & Gift Cards are still available!

Songs To Stitch To, Sing To, Get You Through The Week
Set Aside Some Time This Week For Some Self-Care
I. Quit the guilt for saying “no” ! Next time you want to decline an invitation, phone call, meet-up, etc, practice praising yourself for honoring your own boundaries.
II. Create your own little retreat at home. Grab a few candles, a killer playlist, cozy blankets, and cultivate a space that is totally you and that feels like an escape from reality for an hour (or a few!).
III. Find something in nature that calms your nerves — perhaps the sound of the wind, the chirping of the birds, or the feel of the sun kissing your skin. Embrace the feeling as you breathe deep!
