There She Goes: Happiness is a Butterfly

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I pulled the title of this entry from one of the quotes featured in “Soulful Salutations.” I chose it because it also reflects a very special time in my life, exactly one year ago. My partner and I were on our great adventure across Europe and one year ago decided to hike up Mt. Rigi, in Switzerland. It was the most beautiful hike I had ever been on an along the way we saw many butterflies, which I took to be evidence that my mom (who had passed 10 months prior) was accompanying us. On the way down from the submit, my partner proposed! I was shocked and full to the brim with gratitude and joy. Today I feel just as grateful; for him, for the ability to adventure, for the ability to be still, and for the ability to continue learning and growing in this great big world. This morning we did an early morning hike and watched the sun rise over Denver.
