There She Goes: Hello November 2020
HELLO & HAPPY THURSDAY!
It is officially November of 2020. Anyone else scratching their heads? This past week has been quite the doozy with Mercury in retrograde, the harvest full moon, Halloween, and the election 😅 whew!
Keep taking care of yourself, your energy, and your neighbors. This week, over on my Instagram, I’m sharing 1 thing/day to help your well-being. Check it out and let me know what’s working for you.💜

Set Aside Some Time This Week For Some Self-Care
I. Try letting out any stale, tied-up energy through yelling. Yes, yelling! Even one big “AH!” can be super therapeutic (that’s what I’m talking about over on my Instagram today)
II. Make yourself a nice warm tea and sip slowly while listening to jazz or just breathing mindfully.
III. Prioritize your sleep. Even if you experience trouble falling asleep, commit to 7 or 8 hours of being in your bed. Rest is so vital for the body and mind, especially as we move into darker months.
SOULFUL SALUTATIONS
I. “Take the first step in faith. You don’t have to see the whole staircase, just take the first step.” — Martin Luther King Jr.
II. “Shine like the whole universe is yours.” — Rumi
III. “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.” — Walt Disney
UPLIFTING THINGS HAPPENING AROUND THE WORLD
I. Amazing animals - A man in Brisbane was able to escape a house fire, after his pet parrot shouted his name before the smoke alarm had even started.
II. On Monday, New Zealand appointed its first Indigenous female foreign minister, Nanaia Mahuta
III. A weatherman who was working from home (like many of us!) kept getting interrupted by his cat. Now his cat, Betty, is a star. You have to see the photo, here!
IV. Sarah McBride won the state Senate race in Delaware, becoming the first openly transgender state senator in the country.

Why yes, I have had HRH So Many Thoughts on Style by Elizabeth Holmes on pre-order since the day it was released. I am absolutely elated that we are less than two weeks out until I receive my copy. As a big fan of how fashion has played a major role in history, I could not be more excited.
