There She Goes: Three Good Things
Hello & Happy Wednesday!
From the Three Good Things photo project, Fall 2017
This is a really special week because this past Saturday, November 9th, I launched a big charity project in memory of my mother. It’s called Annie’s Three Good Things Project and the first “Thing” (or charitable initiative) is gathering donations for Comfort Zone Camp, which is essentially a bereavement camp for kids that lost a significant loved one. Donations will sponsor prospective campers, fund camp programming, and literally change lives. Annie’s Three Good Things project will run until December 21st and, to make it even more fun, participants will be entered to win gifts, including a Thorn Alexander canvas 👏 If you’d like to actively get involved you can get started on initiative 1, Kindness for Kids, right here! Otherwise, you can participate by finding three, simple, good things to enjoy in each day. May this week allow you to take a breath and enjoy a few treasured moments, friends.
Songs To Stitch To, Sing To, Get You Through The Week
Set Aside Some Time This Week For Some Self-Care
I. Make a list of three good things that you are grateful for in life.
II. Listen to three of your favorite songs. Bonus points if you also watch the music video and sing aloud!
III. Send out three notes to friends or family members who are important to you. Do so “just because,” not for a specific birthday or holiday. Observe the mutual joy it creates!
Soulful Salutations

“In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.” ― Robert Frost
Uplifting Things Happening Around The World
I. With temperatures dropping near freezing, villagers in India are knitting jumpsuits for resident elephants. Checkout the beautiful wool designs!
II. This New York Times bit about Tom Hanks. A few of the stories in there are sure to give you a smile.
III. Two sisters started a service project to donate meals to North Carolina families that can't afford their traditional holiday dinner this Thanksgiving.
Have a great week!
Be well,
Sheila
