There She Goes: Your Soul Is A River

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Ah this week has just rolled along nicely - for the first time in a while it feels like! Finally I have a grasp on a routine and I didn’t realize how important that would be for my stress level and for my soul. My partner started a new job last week (congrats!) and I admit that, though it’s fun to be completely on our own as entrepreneurs, adding a bit of structure has been a nice change. I treasure my mornings with him & our pup, and I usually am able to squeeze in a dog walk & workout before I start my day. I am so filled with gratitude for this as well as other little things: the heat breaking in Denver after a summer of 97 degree average days; farmers market finds; and quiet sunset walks to tie a box on the day.

Before we jump into this week’s goodies, here are a few corrections to last week’s newsletter:
Brooke & I met NINE years ago… not five 😆🤦‍♀️
The book of poetry is called Your Soul is a River, by Nikita Gill (and that is the inspiration for today’s title too).

Set Aside Some Time This Week For Some Self-Care

a-slice-of-the-moon.JPG

I. Wake early, have yourself a stellar morning. Your dreamy morning might include strolling with your pup or partner, reading by a window, sitting in silent meditation, or having yourself a dance party! Make it yours.

II. Send a friend or family member a care package. We all have that loved one that could use a little extra lovin’ and support at this time. There are few things better than receiving mail or a box of goodies from someone that cares about you.

III. Check out the beautiful full moon shining above us and breathe in the wonder.

Soulful Salutations

III. “Your visions will become clear only when you can look into your own heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes.” — C.G. Jung

Uplifting Things Happening Around The World

II. #RelationshipGoals on this one — this husband-wife pair broke the record as the world’s oldest married couple!

III. In Spain, a same-sex penguin couple adopted an egg from another penguin couple, incubated it, and they’ve just welcomed the baby into the world!
